ElTeclas is an initiative originally created in Caracas-Venezuela in 2004 as a website (ElTeclas.com), and is intended for the publication of educational content in the computing area (in Spanish language), enabling educators to freely access materials and for free.

ElTeclas as a nonprofit foundation promotes training based on digital competences and its responsible use, and it issues the incorporation of information and communication technologies within and outside the classroom.
